(Summary description)International Policy Trends: From "Can" to "Must"  The European Union is promoting a new packaging regulation that prohibits hotels from providing small plastic toiletries. Fedrigoni Special Papers Plus three.  The European Commission has made it clear that single-use plastic items such as mini shampoo bottles and small soap bottles will be replaced, with a greater emphasis on recyclable and refillable packaging. Ecobnb Plus two. Fedrigoni Special Papers Plus two.  In the United States, California has banned the use of small plastic bottles of toiletries in hotels with more than 50 rooms since 2023. Ecomundo Starting in 2025, New York will also ban hotels from providing disposable plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles under 12 ounces. - New York Post  These policies are not isolated phenomena of a single country, but rather a signal of the upgrading of hotel supplies standards on a global scale.  A crisis or an opportunity?  The disposable plastic products that are forced to be phased out pose a cost and operational adjustment challenge for many hotels; but for those suppliers who have made early preparations and adopted quality and eco-friendly alternatives, it is a key to seizing the initiative.   iHotel's Response Plan  We have already invested in the research and development of eco-friendly materials and refillable packaging.  Provide alternative products that comply with regulatory requirements (reduce or eliminate small plastic bottle packaging)  Help hotel groups to transform with low risks, and maintain profitability and brand image under compliance pressure.  In the future, not all hotels will be able to passively "adapt to the new regulations", but those that can proactively transform and stay ahead in the face of changes will. The era of the disappearance of disposable items is the new competitive arena.
